The Swiss Press Photo has honoured AFP photographer Fabrice Coffrini with the first prize in the News category.
Patrick T. Fallon received 7 awards during the 2022 Press Photographers Association of Greater Los Angeles Annual Contest (PPAGLA) edition.
2nd and 3rd prize in the Feature category
2nd prize for the picture of a migrant who just crossed the wall at the US-Mexico border in El Paso, Texas, on December 19, 2022.
The World Press Photo Foundation has announced the regional winners of the renowned photo contest for the 2023 edition. This regional format brings together a regional and global jury that selects the winners from each region in four categories: Single Images, Series, Long-Term Projects, and Free Format. Tomás Cuesta, freelance photographer, was awarded a prize for AFP in Latin America.
AFP photographer Oli Scarff was honoured at the British Sports Journalism Awards (SJA) 2022.
